A Certified ghostwriter of women’s memoirs for many years, I’ve coined the adage memoir-as-medicine. As you might guess, it speaks to the universal healing nature of storytelling and how we’re all so much more alike than different in that our life-lessons overlap. This is the foundation of memoir-writing and beauty and power of our genre. A story-healer at heart, my gift is listening for an author’s story—and I mean deeply listening to excavate a bigger, more universal story—the one bursting to come alive in her. To do so, I use a process with my ghostwriting clients I call, “Letting the Story lead.” You can see the results of this process here with the memoir FINDING ZOE, for which I am an IPNE Book Award Finalist.

Before you begin writing, we’ll engage in the same all-encompassing interviewing process I use with my ghostwriting clients allowing you to connect the dots in ways you may not have seen before. We’ll meet on Zoom for as many times as needed, and I’ll listen for your most authentic, truthful universal story. Functioning as an objective observer or witness, if you will, I’ll help you gather all the material you need to write your most intimate, compelling, captivating, memoir, one that will get the attention it deserves in the marketplace.
